Specific Learning Objectives

Learn what kind of wrinkles can be improved by these methods

  • Understand Restylane®, Perlane®, Juvederm Ultra™, Juvederm Ultra Plus™, and Prevelle Silk™ storage and injection techniques
  • Know how and when to use dermal fillers and study new advances
  • Pain management issues discussed, such as dental infiltration, will be required for the students to perform
  • Provide intensive hands on with one-on-one instruction
  • Discuss the pros and cons of most dermal fillers, including fillers on the horizon.
  • Live demonstration will be presented before our intense hands-on instruction begins
  • Hands-on instruction includes several different injection techniques
  • Learn how to do a Dental Infiltrate

Barbara Jones, ARNP, has over 25 years experience with Dermal Fillers. Ms. Jones has injected various dermal fillers over the years, including hyaluronic acids and collagen. Through her experience, Ms. Jones has found that her clients want a choice in fillers. All Dermal Filler Implant injections are technique specific. Ms. Jones will assist each individual in sharpening their artistic eye and creating specific techniques for injecting Hyaluronic Acid during your hands-on session. Advanced dermal filler facial sculpturing will be discussed and may be demonstrated.

The major focus of this one day, nine hour INTENSIVE and COMPREHENSIVE hands-on certification workshop will be Hyaluronic Acid administration, the most popular and most frequently used dermal filler in the U.S. and international markets. This intensive hands-on training workshop will focus on the art and science of Dermal Filler (Restylane®, Perlane®, Juvederm Ultra™, Juvederm Ultra+™, Prevelle Silk™, Evolence, Radiesse) injection techniques. Above all, AEII prides itself on teaching students the best way to achieve natural (subtle) results. Emphasis will be on establishing client expectations, contraindications, understanding potential risks, and proper injection techniques. Other dermal fillers will be addressed in the workshop. Pain management issues are addressed, including topical numbing agents and performing a dental nerve blocks and infiltrations.

Course manual is included in this training course. Each participant will receive certification upon completion of the workshop.

All participants are guaranteed hands-on experience in all areas. One or two models will be provided, and if attendees prefer to bring their own model they must first confirm with the office.
